Our Work

The National LGBTI Health Alliance delivers a number of programs to help LGBTI people manage their health and access inclusive health services. 

We also help health care providers and other organisations deliver better and more inclusive health outcomes for LGBTI people.

Peer-to-Peer Support

QLife QLife: Peer-to-peer Support
QLife provides anonymous, LGBTI peer support and referral for people in Australia wanting to talk about a range of issues including sexuality, identity, gender, bodies, feelings or relationships.

Silver Rainow: Inclusive Aged Care 
The Silver Rainbow project is designed to improve the experiences of LGBTI people as they age and enter the Australian aged care system.

National Palliative Care Project

  The National Palliative Care project (NPCP
The National Palliative Care project (NPCP) will build the capacity of the palliative care sector to provide culturally appropriate services to LGBTI people through the development of e-learning modules targeted towards General Practitioners and Practice Nurses across Australia.

Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

MindOUT develops and delivers national suicide prevention initiatives for the mental health and suicide prevention sectors to help them meet the needs of LGBTI populations.

The EmployableQ project will provide LGBTI organisations with a range of resources and tools to assist them in becoming more inclusive workplaces for people with disability. This information will be delivered via a toolkit targeted towards LGBTI employers.

The National LGBTI Health Alliance provides a number of options for professional development, training, and education. These packages are highly flexible and can be customised to your organisation and needs.

ABOUT THE ALLIANCE
The National LGBTI Health Alliance is the national peak health organisation in Australia for organisations and individuals that provide health-related programs, services and research focused on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and intersex people and other sexuality and gender diverse (LGBTI) people and communities.
